Tips for Sending Artwork for Your Custom Wall Scrolls

Posted

If you have artwork that you'd like to turn into custom wall scrolls, we can do that for you! It's as easy as sending your artwork to our design team. After that, we'll get to work printing and creating a custom wall scroll that you'll be proud to hang on your wall. The best finished product starts all begins with the best possible artwork file, and that's why we want you to have some handy tips on creating the perfect artwork file before you send it our way.

  • You can send your file in JPEG, GIF, or TIFF format
  • Make sure it is at least 72 ppi (the higher the ppi, the better your final print will look!)
  • Files should be in CMYK format
  • Images should be no larger than 50mb (if they are, you can send it via a Dropbox link)

One thing we really recommend is that your image has a "bleed." A bleed is excess image area that can be cut off during the mounting process without sacrificing the finished result. Make a .5" bleed where the rods will go, and a .25" bleed on edges where there is no rod. This will give you the most professional, polished look on your final scroll.
